WEST PERTH FOOTBALL CLUB COACHING VACANCIES – FEMALE FOOTBALL

THE West Perth Football Club is currently seeking expressions of interests for positions as League Head Coach, Reserves Head Coach and Youth Girls Head Coach for our female football sides in 2018.
 
The West Perth Football Club (WPFC) prides itself on the development and promotion of young footballers and a continued focus on personal development both on and off the field.
 
The Club is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants for the above positions.
As the League Head Coach, you will be responsible for overseeing the clubs senior program during the week and on match days. You will be required to work closely with all staff and coaches within the women’s football program to ensure a quality program is developed and delivered. 
 
Feedback and direct communication with players is critical to succeeding in this role. Your ability to build a solid working relationship with the Female Football Coordinator and General Manager Football Operations will be imperative to building a strong culture within the women’s programs.
 
Your knowledge of the female football pathway and assisting players to reach their potential will be key indicator of your success.
 
As the Reserves Head Coach, you will be responsible for overseeing the clubs Reserves side during the week and on matchdays. You will be required to work closely with the clubs Head Coach (Female) and other coaches within the women’s football program.
 
Feedback and direct communication with players is critical to succeeding in this role. You will also be encouraged to continue to develop all aspects of your coaching in a supportive, developing environment
 
As the Rodgers Cup Head Coach, you will be responsible for overseeing the clubs Under 18’s female program during the week and on match days.
 
You will be required to work closely with the coaches within the senior female football programs. Feedback and direct communication with players is critical to succeeding in this role. You will also be encouraged to continue to develop all aspects of your coaching in a supportive, developing environment
 
Suitable applicants must possess:
Highly effective communication skills.
Ability to lead and influence.
Understand talented athlete identification.
Demonstrate structured and sequential planning within a football season.
Strong knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies.
Understanding of skill development learning strategies.
Understanding of the Female Talent Pathway
Minimum Level 1 Coach Accreditation (working toward a Level 2)
