HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY VERA

THE West Perth Football Club recently acknowledged the 100th birthday of perhaps the Falcons' longest-serving supporter, Vera Rosich.

To celebrate her 100th birthday, Vera was treated to lunch at Parliament House and the following letter from West Perth President Brett Raponi was read and presented:

Dear Vera,

Happy Birthday, 100 years old yesterday.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Administration, Coaches and Players at West Perth Football Club, I congratulate you on achieving this significant milestone.

This is a great achievement from one of our staunchest and quite possibly our oldest living supporter.

Vera you have seen many things in your lifetime but I am sure the pleasure of seeing West Perth win 14 of our 18 premierships has given you as much pleasure as anything else in your wonderful life.

Your heart really must beat true because I am sure this is what has sustained you for 100 years.

Remember 'It's a Grand Old Flag' and we wish you and your family well on this wonderful occasion.
